Caring for the well-being of the community in surrounding areas

In 2025, new and continual projects, mainly focusing on pets and animals, were initiated as follows:

Health and Well-being
  • Annual Dog and Cat Vaccination Campaign

In 2025, the Company organized its annual vaccination campaign for the second consecutive year in collaboration with the Tha Sai Subdistrict Administrative Organization in Samut Sakhon Province and the Phawong Subdistrict Municipality in Songkhla Province, with support from veterinarians and specialists from the i-Cattery Research Center.

The campaign provided rabies vaccinations for more than 400 dogs and cats in local communities, contributing to the prevention and control of rabies. Educational outreach was also conducted to promote responsible pet ownership, including the importance of vaccination, proper pet care, and regular health check-ups.

Through this initiative, the Company supports community health while ensuring the well-being and protection of pets.

Livelihood and Skills Development
  • Second Chance for Better Lives

Recognizing the increasing number of stray dogs in Thailand and its impact on animal welfare and public safety, the Company initiated the "Second Chance for Better Lives" project in collaboration with The Voice Foundation and Chaipak Dog Training Center. The project focuses on behavioral training and rehabilitation to improve the quality of life of homeless dogs and increase their chances of adoption.

The initiative commenced in 2024 and will continue through 2028.

Since 2024, the Company has supported the rehabilitation of two dogs, "Tua Lek" and "Gundam," both of which participated in community engagement activities with 74 elderly participants at Suan Keaw Temple in Nonthaburi. These activities, conducted alongside professional trainers, help promote positive human-animal interaction and support mental well-being among participants. Notably, "Tua Lek" has been successfully adopted into a permanent home.

In mid-2025, the Company expanded the initiative by supporting two additional dogs, "Pak Kard" and "Khai Tom," who are undergoing behavioral training prior to participating in similar activities with 30 elderly participants.

Through this project, the Company contributes to reducing stray dog populations while strengthening community engagement and promoting animal welfare.

Children and Education
  • Memorandum of Understanding with Ban Nam Krajai School

In 2023, the Company's Songkhla manufacturing facility entered into a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ban Nam Krajai School to support long-term educational development.

In 2025, the Company provided financial support totaling THB 108,000 to enhance the school's learning environment, improve sanitation systems and infrastructure, and support the recruitment of additional educational personnel. These improvements contribute to a safer, more conducive learning environment and support the continued delivery of quality education for students.

Through this initiative, the Company aims to strengthen educational opportunities and promote sustainable community development.

  • i-Tail Vet Student Campus Connect

The i-Tail Vet Student Campus Connect program is an academic collaboration initiative between universities and the pet food industry. Through lectures, workshops, and practical learning experiences, the program focuses on pet nutrition science. It emphasizes evidence-based knowledge, including product formulation, food safety systems, and veterinary evaluation of pet nutrition.

Through this initiative, the Company strengthens collaboration between academia and industry while helping prepare veterinary students with competencies aligned with international standards.

Waste Collection and Marine Conservation Activities

Thai Union Group places strong emphasis on waste collection as part of its SeaChange 2030 sustainability strategy, with a target of organizing activities annually on World Oceans Day and International Coastal Cleanup Day. The activity resulted in the collection of more than 600 kilograms of waste and supported the release of sea turtles back into their natural habitat.

  • International Coastal Cleanup Day

In September 2025, the Company joined Thai Union Group in organizing a mangrove waste collection activity in Samut Sakhon Province, collecting 755 kilograms of waste. In parallel, the Songkhla facility carried out similar activities, collecting and sorting more than 350 kilograms of waste in collaboration with public, private, and community stakeholders.

The Songkhla facility also continued the "i-Tail Love the Ocean: Protecting Songkhla Sea Together - Phase 2" initiative at Bo It Beach. The activity engaged multiple stakeholders in coastal clean-up efforts and environmental awareness, resulting in the collection and sorting of more than 350 kilograms of waste.

These initiatives support the Company's long-term commitment under the SeaChange 2030 strategy to prevent more than 1,500 tons of plastic waste from entering rivers and oceans by 2030, with a focus on mangrove ecosystems as critical marine debris retention areas. The Company continues to promote collaboration with coastal communities and partners to advance sustainable environmental conservation.
